NCAA Tournament: Oregon Ducks Early Foul Trouble Could Be Make Or Break vs Kansas
The Oregon Ducks need to stay out of early foul trouble against the bigger Kansas Lineup on Saturday.
Both teams come in with experience that has grown throughout this season. Kansas and Oregon both have go to players. The Ducks Dillon Brooks may not quite be the household name Nationally that Frank Mason III has become for Kansas, but a big performance on Saturday could put him there.

Mason is averaging 20 points per game for the Jayhawks. He is hitting 80 percent from the free throw line this season and has Kansas on a run. The team has won 12 of their last 13 after losing the Big 12 Tournament by 2 points to TCU.
Kansas was in contention much of the year as the top team in the country, but come Tournament time, those numbers tend to go out the window. The Oregon Ducks were a Top 5 team to begin the year, and fought back to get into the Top 5 before losing to Arizona in the Pac-12 Championship.
The clear names on Saturday to watch are Brooks and Mason, but don’t discount Tyler Dorsey. He has had six straight games of 20 points or more and could be in line for the title of ‘Mr. March’ with a solid outing against the Jayhawks.
Oregon has played in big games all season, including beating a then 5th ranked Arizona on their home floor at Matthew Knight Arena. It appears as though the tables have turned a bit with a regionally heavy Kansas crowed giving the game for a chance at the Final Four more of a Jayhawks home game.
