The undefeated Oregon Ducks take a perfect Pac-12 start on the road against the 11th ranked Utah Utes.
Last weekend saw more domination for the Oregon Ducks Softball team. Mike White and the team lead the Pac-12 Conference in hitting at .375. Starting Pitchers Miranda Elish and Megan Kliest have a combined Earned Run Average around 1 and the team ERA stands at 1.12 entering a three game series on the road this weekend at Utah.

The Utes started Pac-12 play last weekend 3-0 and enter the weekend ranked 11th in the nation. Utah showed moxie last weekend sweeping 10th ranked UCLA on the road. Utah is hitting just below the Oregon Ducks at .334.
Hannah Flippen leads Utah with a .450 average and has played in all 26 games for the Utes this season. The team is 5-1 away in away games and the series with Oregon is the first home series for the team this season. From the mound is where Utah is solid. Similar to Oregon they also have a low team ERA at 1.02.
Hailey Hilburn leads with a 057 ERA. The series is heaving on pitching and it could come down to a Defensive play. While Utah is not the biggest Home Run Hitting team in the Pac-12, the Oregon Ducks are more toward the middle of the Conference in the category.
Sammie Puentes and Danica Mercado are two to watch this weekend for Oregon. Puentes went 6 for 7 last weekend vs Cal. Mercado was 10 for 16.
