Oregon Ducks Sweep UC Irvine, Set Sights On Arizona Wildcats
The Oregon Ducks (21-8) continued their strong play at home with a sweep of UC Irvine over the weekend.
Starting Pitcher Isaiah Carranza earned the Sunday start after solid performance last week vs Portland going five innings and giving up two runs on six hits.
On Sunday the Oregon Sophomore started the game giving up a hit and a walk before UC Davis came through with a two RBI single on a bang bang play at first base led to some confusion. The call was changed to an error and the runs were unearned. It was a three hit inning for Carranza as Oregon came to bat in the bottom of the first inning.
