The Oregon Ducks Softball team coming off their first two losses of the season at UCLA face Washington in a key Pac-12 series this weekend.

Mike White and the Ducks hit a hiccup in their season last weekend losing two games at UCLA. They were both battles and Oregon showed resilience in coming back to avoid the sweep on Sunday. Oregon lost some momentum and dropped to 4th in the USA Softball poll this week with Washington coming into Jane Sanders Stadium ranked 13th.

The Huskies(29-9, 6-6 Pac-12) have had a rough few weeks and are looking to get back on track. Washington did win two of three games last weekend at home against Oregon State. They are hitting .336 on the season and are a home run hitting team. Casey Stangel and Morganne Flores have each hit nine home runs this season for the Huskies.

The Oregon Ducks started the season 35-0 before losing their first two games of the season last weekend at UCLA. Oregon is averaging six runs per game this season and Leadoff Hitter Alexis Mack is seeing the ball to the tune of a .451 batting average. Oregon has five hitters batting over .300 with the team hitting .344.

On the mound, the Oregon Ducks are led by Maggie Balint and Megan Kleist who each picked up their first loss of the season last weekend. The Ducks team ERA stands at 1.12 entering the weekend.
