For Lilley it has been a rough month. Not only did Oregon go into a cold streak hitting that led to six straight losses, but Lilley was unable to help her team. The Junior went cold at the plate and was moved in the rotation. The move did not help. She worked in the batting cages, found patience and got her stroke back. It paid off against Florida State.
Lilley went 5 for 7 with a run and 3 Runs Batted In for the weekend. She did not strike out once and in the Doubleheader on Saturday was a perfect 6 for 6.
Pitcher Maggie Balint was in the circle on Saturday giving up just one run through 7 innings with 7 strikeouts She also played a role in the Series Finale on Sunday coming in for the eighth inning with runners on and getting a key strikeout to keep Florida State from scoring.
The Oregon Ducks have won their last two series between Oregon State and Florida State and wrap up the regular season this week against Stanford.
