In his first with the New York Giants he played in six games and had an impact. For his career, he has 227 tackles, along with an impressive 70 on Special Teams. He has made spot starts and played in 91 games in his six-year career in the National Football League.
Paysinger played as a backup with the Miami Dolphins with just three starts the last two seasons. He played in 23 games making 83 tackles with the Dolphins from 2014-2016..
The New York Jets Defense needs as much help as it can get entering the 2017 season. The expectation is that being a seasoned Veteran Paysinger can not only add some much-needed depth but also experience for a team still searching for a Defensive identity.
