NBA Summer League: Dylan Ennis Drops 35 Points In Golden State Win
While Jordan Bell has been making headlines with his Summer League performance, a former teammate played a big role in a victory on Friday night.
On Friday night against the LA Clippers former Oregon Duck Dylan Ennis played the Professional Game of his life dropping 35 points. He had over 20 points at halftime. Ennis is one of several representing his native Canada in Las Vegas, and representing well.

Ennis spent one true season on the floor for the Oregon Ducks. Last season he played the part of a very efficient sixth man for Dana Altman helping to lead the team to back to back Elite 8 Performances and the teams’ first Final Four Appearance since 1939.
The bigger story over the weekend may not be that Dylan Ennis put up 35 points, but he did it as an undrafted free agent and had a better game than former UCLA Bruin Lonzo Ball who many are being compared to in July. We also have to keep in mind that it is Summer. Offenses and Defenses are different. It is NOT a true NBA Game as players are typically sent to play in Las Vegas to work on their game and learn.
One thing that Ennis did was open some eyes. With Jordan Bell likely to break into the Opening Day lineup, probably off the bench Ennis now has a chance to do the same thing.
Ennis is making the most of his Summer League experience. He first played for Oklahoma City before joining Golden State in Las Vegas. His comfort level is starting to show. For reference, his career high in college was 22 this past season with the Oregon Ducks.
