The College Football season is still a month away, but there will be football, sort of, Saturday at Autzen Stadium.
Oregon Football will be different in 2017. New Head Coach Willie Taggart has promised more transparency with the program for both Fans and the Media. On Saturday night, Taggart and the Coaching Staff will host over 60 athletes and potential recruits for Saturday Night Live. It will be a two hour show of talent with players running drills with the Coaching Staff.

What makes this intriguing aside from the Coaching Staff having a lot of NFL Experience is the chance that fans will be able to come out and watch. For the players it will be a first hand opportunity to see what Oregon Football is about and it is important to make a good first impression. Nebraska held a similar camp earlier this year and had 7000 spectators on hand.
While I don’t believe that the Ducks will bring in that big of a number, it will be good to see what the future may look like. Over sixty players will be showing their skills including several highly touted recruits. Some may make commitment announcements following the camp that is set to run about two hours.
Players are coming to Eugene on unofficial visits to participate in the event. Florida is well represented. The list includes a Five Star, 20 Four Stars, and also includes 11 of 15 Oregon Football commitments.
