The Oregon Basketball team is fresh off an NCAA Tournament Appearance and the upcoming non-conference slate will prepare the team for another tough run in the Pac-12 Conference.
There was a different focus on the offseason with the announcement of the Phil Knight Invitational and the bevy of talent coming to Portland, Oregon on Thanksgiving Weekend. Oregon is part of that group and will play at least two games to celebrate Phil Knight’s 80th Birthday.
The excitement for the upcoming season has seen Season Tickets sales pass the 90 percent mark and those fans will be rewarded with some of the best basketball in the country. Nine teams that made the post season in 2016 are on the upcoming schedule and the weekend slate throughout the season is stacked with teams looking to break a 42 game home winning streak including UCLA, Arizona, USC and Utah from the Pac-12 Conference.

As seems the standard of the last few years, Oregon will face Northwest Christian University in an exhibition game before the Regular Season begins. November opens with four straight true home game at Matthew Knight Arena, including two Friday games starting with Coppin State. Prarie View A&M, Alabama State and Ball State visit before Oregon heads to Portland for the PK80 Tournament.
The month of December will continue at home for four games with Boise State, Colorado State, Texas Southern and Portland State coming to Eugene. Oregon then faces Fresno State on the road before closing out the non-conference schedule with Central Arkansas.
Pac-12 play opens for Oregon on December 29th with Oregon hosting Utah. Colorado faces the Ducks in the second game of the weekend to close out the year on December 31st.
