The Oregon Ducks return home to face some familiarity in Cal with Justin Wilcox and Steve Greatwood returning to Autzen Stadium looking for the upset on Saturday night.

Oregon Gameday Live Stream vs Cal

Oregon Football (3-1, 0-1 Pac-12) meets California (3-1, 0-1)  in the second Pac-12 Conference game of the year for both teams. Both the Ducks and Golden Bears are looking to avoid a tough to come back from 0-2 start. The home team would like to have some momentum entering the showdown with Washington State next week.

The Ducks started the season 3-0 with high hopes for the fourth win last week on the road. They entered the game favored by more than two touchdowns, but Arizona State was up to the challenge. This week, Oregon returns home to Autzen Stadium after two games away looking to right the ship.

Of course, also coming home, in a sense, is Cal Head Coach Justin Wilcox. He may have been in the running late last year when the Ducks hired Willie Taggart as Head Coach. Wilcox has another former longtime Oregon Coach with him in Steve Greatwood who I’m sure had some input this week as to how to play against some of the Oregon Offensive Line.

Running Back Royce Freeman now owns the Oregon Football mark for touchdowns. He will look to add to that against Cal with the Pac-12 Record still in reach before the end of the season. Freeman has been the workhorse for Oregon through four games.  Quarterback Justin Herbert has shown he can led this team too. The Oregon Sophomore has a young group of Wide Receivers to throw too again, with Charles Nelson still likely out with an ankle injury suffered against Wyoming.

While Oregon Football is still working on a bend, not break Defense, the California Golden Bears have found their hands on 11 gained turnovers, good enough for third in the country according to SERCenter.

The player to watch for California is Kanawai Noa. The Wide Receiver is on fire for the Golden Bears hitting highs in Receiving Yards the last two games and becoming a trusted outlet for Quarterback Ross Bowers.

With Oregon averaging over 50 points per game, getting back on track in front of the hometown faithful should be easy for the Ducks. An early play could swing momentum their way for the entire night and there may me more than one play between Herbert, Freeman on Offense to go around. The Ducks Defense will also be looking for opportunity to show that a decent played game last week was not for lack of effort.

Oregon and Cal kickoff at 7:35pm Pacific Time on Fox Sports 1.
