Four Former Oregon Ducks Could Have The Biggest impact In Super Bowl 52

The Oregon Ducks are well represented in Super Bowl 52, with four former players playing in the NFL Championship Game. Three play for the Philadelphia Eagles with one on the roster in New England. All four are in key positions to help their respective team win the game. Two of them have played for both teams, New England and Philadelphia respectively.

For Philadelphia, LeGarrette Blount and Kenjon Barner have been important role players this season. Running Back has been a key role and with the addition of Jay Ajayi, Blount has been the bruising back to get the yardage in short situations. He has come through in 2017. He is also credited with scoring in both Playoff Games against Atlanta and Minnesota.

Kenjon Barner has taken on a different role, but also important. As a return man, he has more yards this season than in his previous years in the NFL. While he has yet to score a touchdown, he does have a 76-yard run back to his credit and has shown the speed Oregon Fans remember from when he was a Duck.

Linebacker Joe Walker has had an injury-plagued career, but has carved out a solid position at Linebacker for Philadelphia. He earned the backup Linebacker role this season behind Jordan Hicks and has 10 tackles to his credit, including playing a role in the first win of the season against the Washington Redskins.

On the other side of the ball, New England Patriots Safety Patrick Chung also has a history with both teams, but under different leadership in Philadelphia. Chung has carved himself into a role player and potential star in New England over the last few seasons with consistent play while remaining healthy on the field.

All four players are in what I consider key positions for the Super Bowl. All of them have big-play ability and could swing the game at any time. For Oregon Fans, this should be a fun one to watch.
