Oregon Football will be getting an Official visit from 4-Star Wide Receiver Lance Wilhoite in June.
The Oregon Ducks have quietly put together the top Pac-12 Recruiting Class for 2019 and one area that is always in need is Wide Receiver. The Ducks have put together solid seasons without a standout name at the position. While Charles Nelson played well over the last two seasons, he was never a real threat. The ball went to other players including Johnny Johnson III, and Defensive Transfer Brendan Schooler.
All three have done well for Oregon Football. For 2018 the Oregon Ducks have Transfer Tabari Hines who should provide experience for an Offensive Unit that needs to find more consistency. The 2019 Recruiting Class will be important for the position,
Lance Wilhoite fits the mold. He is a 4-Star Athlete from Nashville, Tennessee and plans to make several important Official Visits over the summer before making a commitment. He will be in Eugene on June 22nd according to Rivals and Wilhoite said in a recent interview that Eugene is the farthest school from home he will visit.
Wilhoite also spoke about the Oregon Football Coaching Staff and said they see him as a Game Changing style of Player for the Class of 2019. Dillon Mitchell is also from Tennessee. It never hurts to have a connection and I expect that the Ducks will roll out the red carpet for him in June.

The Offensive Scheme for Oregon Football has been somewhat predictable the last few seasons with the run and pass, but if Oregon can bring in several big Wide Receivers with speed, it will further increase their opportunities for explosion plays and getting the ball downfield. Hines should provide the opportunity for 2018, but if Oregon can add more talent for 2019 it will push Oregon to the next level.
The Oregon Ducks have a playmaker at Quarterback in Justin Herbert. As the team prepares for the upcoming season, Oregon has added several key transfers to help get the Ducks further in 2018. The Ducks will again lose important players to Graduation following the season and Wilhoite could be a key to the future at Wide Receiver.
Lance Wilhoite is the 55th best Wide Receiver Nationally, 10th Best at his position and 3rd best in the State of Tennessee according to Rivals.
