Oregon Football is now among the Top Ten in the Nation for 2019 Commits after JR Waters pledged to play for the Ducks on Friday.

The Oregon Ducks enter the 2018 season with several key Transfer Players including Tabari Hines at Wide Receiver. The hope is he can bring some experience into a young and talented group. Quarterback Justin Herbert will have players to throw too following the departure of Charles Nelson, but no single player stands out entering the season.

The hope is that Hines will be that go to player.

Oregon is always looking to the future and late last week, 3-Star Wide Receiver JR Waters announced he was committing to play for Oregon Football and decided to take a visit to Eugene to see for himself.

The Ducks offered Waters on May 22nd and since then other big schools have followed including Washington State in the Pac-12 along with Nebraska and Michigan in the Big Ten. While he is currently outside the Top 500 profiled in the Class of 2019, the notice by other schools should help improve that number moving forward.

Oregon Football still has time to add more players to the Offense to help make the scheme more dynamic for what Mario Cristobal and Marcus Arroyo are looking to create moving forward. The Offensive Line will be strong and physical and position players will be fast and athletic. The process of building these pieces has started with the Offensive Line, which showed vast improvement from 2017-2018 and should take another step this season.

Quarterback Justin Herbert his shown he has the talent to play at the next level and if he did not suffer an injury six weeks into the season in 2017, the remainder of the year may have looked very different than a loss in the Las Vegas Bowl to Boise State.

The addition of Waters could be a key for the Class of 2019. Oregon now has a Top Ten Recruiting Class Nationally. The 3-Star Wide Receiver is the 11th commitment for the Class of 2019 for the Oregon Ducks.
