Oregon Football found a key Graduate Transfer in Wide Receiver Tabari Hines and on Thursday, he was accepted at the University of Oregon.

Anytime you have a Graduate Transfer coming into your respective Football Program there is always the chance they will not be accepted. This is not the case for Wide Receiver Transfer Tabari Hines. On Thursday, he Tweeted his acceptance to the University of Oregon and will be ready to join Oregon Football.

Last season, the Oregon Ducks were led on the field by Charles Nelson who played a key leadership role despite not seeing the ball as much as he would have liked. Many times it was the position he was on the field and the read by Justin Herbert. In many cases, Herbert found a more open receiver.

Entering 2018, the Oregon Football team has a lot of talent at Wide Receiver, but it is raw talent. While some saw time on the field last season, the hope is that Tabari Hines can not only be an influence in the locker room, but also a key target for Herbert on the field.

While Dillon Mitchell led the team in receiving last season, Hines brings with him more Offensive numbers than all of the seven returning Wide Receivers combined which includes the career numbers for Mitchell over two seasons.

Tabari Hines spent much of his time with Wake Forest in the spot position and he will likely remain at that position for Oregon Football in 2018. He has one season of eligibility remaining and will take over the position played by Charles Nelson.

Hines will be a welcomed member of the Oregon Offense who we should see in Fall Camp which begins in just a few weeks. Oregon Football opens the 2018 season hosting Wake Forest on Saturday, September 1st at 5 pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Network.
