Oregon Basketball: January Visits By UCLA and Washington Highlight Pac-12 Slate
On Tuesday the Pac-12 Conference announced the Regular Season Home and Away schedule for teams in the Conference.
The Oregon Ducks have a challenging home slate and a slightly easier road schedule compared to last season. Entering the season, Oregon has a handful of players returning from last season led by Payton Pritchard who is entering his Junior year. Last season was not the best experience for Pritchard who was tasked with leading the way on a team of mostly newcomers.
Entering 2018, that storyline continues, but the hope of finding early season chemistry once again could make or break this team. Kenny Wooten returns for his Sophomore season. A new round of Freshman enter led by 6 foot 7 Center Bol Bol who will certainly warrant as much attention on the road as he will at Matthew Knight Arena.
The non-conference slate has yet to be announced but the Ducks open at home with Oregon State leading nine regular season home games for Oregon Basketball. The Beavers visit on January 5th followed by visits from UCLA and USC the following weekend on January 12th. Oregon will face 10 teams on the road.
The first two weeks of January are the only weeks of the Pac-12 regular season that Oregon has back to back weekends at home
