Pharoah Brown Moved To Cleveland Browns Active Roster
Former Oregon Football player Pharoah Brown has dealt with plenty of adversity in his football career and he will get a second chance in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns.
Pharoah Brown signed with the Oakland Raiders following the 2016 season with Oregon Football, a season that was a comeback of sorts. Brown suffered a season-ending leg injury during the 2014 season in a game at Utah. He tore two ligaments and missed the 2015 season while he was recovering from the injury. He returned to Football for the 2016 season he started 8 games and scored five touchdowns for Oregon Football.
Following the 2016 season, he signed with the Oakland Raiders who moved Brown to the Practice squad. He was moved to the active roster late in the year last season. Brown was waived September 1st as Jon Gruden decided he was not part of the long-term plan for the Raiders.

He did not have to wait long to find a team. He was signed by the Cleveland Browns on September 25th and following a rough patch with the injury bug may have the opportunity to see the field this week.
Brown is from Lyndhurst, Ohio, so a move to the Browns makes a ton of sense and puts him closer to home. He has spent the last four weeks gaining experience with the Cleveland Offense on the Practice squad. Brown will play the Tight End position and wear the number 86.
The former Oregon Football Tight End will look to find success close to home with the Cleveland Browns. He joins several other Ducks already on the field in the NFL including Royce Freeman with the Denver Broncos, and Marcus Mariota with the Tennessee Titans.
Cleveland travels to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in a rematch of the two-game season series. In the first game of the regular season, both teams played to a tie. The Browns and Steelers kick off at 10 am Pacific Time Sunday on CBS.
