The Oregon Men’s Basketball team is struggling to find healthy bodies to play this season. Bol Bol has missed the last four games and now his season, and likely career at Oregon come to an end.

According to Matt Prehm from 247Sports, Bol suffered a stress fracture in his left foot which will keep him out of the Oregon Basketball lineup for the rest of this season.

Bol was never considered a two year player at Oregon and is expected to head into the NBA Draft for next year, but if there was the chance he could return healthy in 2019 for Oregon (probably not going to happen), I’m sure Dana Altman would jump for joy – ok probably not.

Bol has missed the last four games, but started out the 2018 season leading the team in points, putting up over 20 per game. He had double-doubles in four of his first nine games in an Oregon Uniform. The loss of Bol for the foreseeable future adds to an already building concern with injuries for the 2018 Oregon Men’s Basketball program.

While he has played better, Payton Pritchard is not 100 percent. Abu Kigab has missed the last three games with an ankle injury and has requested a transfer from the program and Sophomore Kenny Wooten will be out for the next month or longer after suffering a broken jaw against Baylor.

According to Prehm, Bol has not been with the team over the last ten days and coaches have revised the plan for Pac-12 play without him. Over the coming weeks, expect a smaller lineup on the court The benefit of having a top recruiting class should begin to come to form this season, even without Bol Bol.

Louis King has played well over the last three games, times creating his own shot. Will Richardson is getting more comfortable at the point guard position along with an experienced Payton Pritchard.

Oregon returns to Matthew Knight Arena on Saturday. The Ducks face Oregon State to open Pac-12 play. (5 pm Pacific Time, Pac-12 Network)
