Oregon found a hot start on the road hitting over 65 percent from the floor in the first quarter setting the pace and holding the USC Trojans to just 2 for 10 good shots in the first 10 minutes. One player off the bench that has stood out this season has been the play of Freshman Taylor Chavez. While she is not the tallest player on the floor, she certainly plays with a lot of energy and knows how to find open spots on the floor.

Chavez played a good part of the fourth quarter vs USC. She finished the game with 14 points and game-high six steals. She also had a block and was on the floor for 26 minutes.
