It was a win that the Oregon Men’s Basketball team needed and they shot better than 50 percent in the victory over the USC Trojans on Sunday.

The Oregon Ducks took an eight-point lead into halftime and were able to build in the second half pulling away 81-60. If nothing else, it was a big confidence builder following their loss Thursday to the hands of UCLA in Overtime. Oregon had a 12 point lead with just over four minutes left and not only fell apart on Defense, but also lost sight of the win vs the Bruins. Sunday was a different story.

Four players scored in double figures led by Paul White and Louis King. Both finished with 19 points. White was 6 for 12 from the floor with five rebounds. Oregon outrebounded USC 35 to 34 and had 19 points off 12 Trojans turnovers. To start the second half, Victor Bailey Jr. flew down the line to score a three-pointer. Oregon was 13 for 24 from beyond the arc. For the Ducks to find ways to win without Bol Bol and a young lineup, the game vs USC was a good start.

The Ducks picked up their first Pac-12 win of the season. Bailey Jr. finished with 10 points. After a rough game vs UCLA, Payton Pritchard found the basket for 9. Off the bench, Will Richardson was 4 for 5 from the floor for 11 points. The Ducks Bench was a key reason as to why they won the game vs the USC Trojans.

Oregon had 21 points from their bench and 8 fast break points. The Ducks found offensive efficiency with 16 assists, led by Louis King who found his teammates 8 times.

The Oregon Ducks now head to the desert for what will likely be their toughest Pac-12 test of the season on the road. Oregon meets Arizona Thursday(6 pm Pacific Time, ESPN) and heads to Arizona State on Sunday(6:30 pm Pacific Time, Pac-12 Networks)
