Oregon Ducks Grind Out Win Over Arizona
The Oregon Ducks showed they are making positive strides in a win over Arizona, 59-54 Thursday night.
For Oregon Basketball it has been a season of change. Typically a program has an offseason to prepare for the changes that the Ducks have had in just the last month. Oregon headed into Arizona as a five-point underdog, and from the start of the game, it was clear that the Ducks had an opportunity.
Despite a rough start, Oregon opened the first half shooting just 5 for 20 from the floor. Arizona opened 6 for 14 but had four turnovers in the first 10 minutes of play allowing the Ducks to keep pace and tie the game at 16. Oregon then found some momentum going on a 16-2 run as the first half came down to the final minutes.
