Oregon Basketball remains somewhat of an enigma this season. The team played to a gritty victory over the Arizona Wildcats last week, but lost a game after giving up an over 20 point run at Arizona State in a loss.

The Washington Huskies come to Eugene with the best record in the Pac-12 Conference at 14-4, 5-0 in Pac-12 play. For of the five wins have been by double digits. Senior leadership for Washington is a big reason for their early success. They are putting up over 72 points per game and averaging 34 rebounds per game this season. Jaylen Nowell and David Crisp lead the team on the court.

Crisp is putting up over 11 points per game. He has 47 assists on the season so far. Nowell is the player to watch for the Washingon Huskies. He is hitting close to 17 points per game along with 5 rebounds per game. While Noah Dickerson has been in the middle gaining momentum in early season play, he has been shut down somewhat in Pac-12 play. He has gone from averaging double digits to just 8 points per game over the last five games.

Washington has weapons and playmakers throughout their roster. While the Huskies have a team built for the Conference this season, the Oregon Ducks have worked hard to find consistency after the loss of two key players early in the season. Bol Bol played just nine games in an Oregon Uniform and Abu Kigab announced he was transferring before the start of Pac-12 play.

Oregon has found road success early in Pac-12 play in beating the Arizona Wildcats, however, their play at home two weeks ago saw a loss against UCLA that should have been a win. It is becoming that type of season for a young Oregon team, the youngest in the last fourteen seasons.

Paul White left the game vs Arizona State with an ankle injury. He will be a game-time decision.

The Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies tipoff at 6 pm from Matthew Knight Arena.
