The Oregon Ducks struggled in the first half but showed fight in the second half against the Colorado Buffaloes.

It was a game that Oregon was favored in by a point from the start. The Ducks under Head Coach Dana Altman have never won in Boulder, and that stat held up again Saturday night. Oregon struggled early to find baskets. Oregon has just 17 points in the first 20 minutes while giving up 40 points to Colorado on the other end.

It was not a very clean start for Oregon either. Dana Altman watch his team commit 23 turnovers in the game. The team did play better in the second half, winning the final 20 minutes 34-33. It was not a game where three-pointers were at a premium. Both teams shot less than 17 percent from beyond the arc. Oregon hit just 4 of 25 from downtown. The Ducks were outrebounded 45-32 for the game. Rebounding has always been a big area of concern for Head Coach Dana Altman and that will continue as the season rolls into the final month.

Louis King and Payton Pritchard were the only two Oregon Ducks to score in double fugures. King finished with 12 points of 5 for 13 shooting from the floor. Pritchard was 3 for 8 from the field for 10 points. Victor Bailey Jr. could not find his shot on Saturday night hitting just 2 for 9 from the floor for 6 points vs Colorado.

The Oregon Ducks finished the road trip 1-1 after beating Utah on Thursday night, which was a big win for this young Oregon team. The Ducks still have a lot to work on and team chemistry took a step forward vs the Utes, but another step back against Colorado. The team now returns home for two games this week in similar positions with young rosters.

Oregon hosts Cal and Stanford this week. The Ducks and Golden Bears tipoff on Wednesday night. (6:30 pm PT, FS1)
