The Oregon Ducks faced a talented California Golden Bears team on Friday night and had an impressive display in their seventh win this season hitting the 100 point mark.

Both teams played hard, but it was clear that to have a chance, Cal would have to play well early, which did not happen. The Golden Bears battled back from an early 14-1 lead by the Ducks to end the first quarter 21-16. Sabrina Ionescu was able to continue finding the basket after a cold streak that led into last week. For the game, the Ducks Junior had 27 points off 10 for 15 shooting.

Satou Sabally has paced the Oregon Ducks in Pac-12 play averaging over 20 points per game over the last month. She again shot the ball well vs Cal. She finished with 31 points off 10 for 15 shooting and was an eye-popping 6 for 8 from three-point range.

After beating Stanford less than two weeks ago, the Golden Bears struggled from the start and were never able to get going on Offense. Cal had 12 turnovers and the Ducks turned it into an advantageous 17 points. Kristine Anigwe did her best to get her team back into the game and had an impressive stat line in the loss finishing with 23 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists. She also had four fouls.

The Oregon Offense shot 60 percent from the floor for the game and 61 percent beyond the arc. They were 15 of 17 from the free throw line and committed just 5 turnovers for the game. Oregon also had 46 points in the paint and 18 assists. Despite the early struggle, Cal finished with 20 assists, but turnovers were a big key.

With the victory, Oregon remains undefeated in Pac-12 play. Oregon State lost at Stanford on Friday night, giving Oregon a two-game lead in the Conference. The Ducks have won 15 straight games, the most in the Nation, and heads to Stanford to take on the Cardinal on Sunday. (1 pm PT, ESPN2)
