Despite losing a key bench player to injury, the Oregon Ducks prevailed vs Arizona 83-54 to claim a share of the Pac-12 Regular Season title.

Before the game, it was announced that key bench payer Taylor Chavez would miss time with a foot injury. She has been an important player off the bench for most of the season for Head Coach Kelly Graves, especially on the defensive end of the floor of late. The Ducks bench is now down to just three players, but the strength of this team is the Starting 5 and they showed why again on Friday night against Arizona.

Sabrina Ionescu, Ruthy Hebard, and Satou Sabally led the team on the road. The first two quarters saw the Oregon Ducks take an eight-point lead into halftime. The final quarter of the game was impressive for the Oregon Defense. The Ducks kept the Wildcats off the board entirely not allowing a point in the final quarter.

Satou Sabally finished with a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sabrina Ionescu led the team in scoring with 22 points. She was 8 for 14 from the floor and an impressive 6 for 9 from three-point range. The Ducks Offensive efficiency saw 22 assists led by Ionescu with 8.

Oregon shot 57 percent from the floor for the game while holding Arizona to under 35 percent and forcing 13 turnovers. Oregon had 6 blocks and 6 steals and took care of business inside the paint by a margin of 34.

Morgan Yeager could be the choice to take the minutes moving forward with Chavez out. Yeager showed on Friday night that she belongs in the lineup. She had just six points but was active on both ends of the floor and is getting better game by game after missing the better part of two full seasons with injury.
