2019 Oregon Football: Spring Game Rosters Set
The Oregon Ducks will wrap up Spring Practice with new faces on the roster, and a big name to watch on Saturday at Autzen Stadium.
Oregon Football will again honor the military with the annual Spring Game. Admission is free. Head Coach Mario Cristobal will enter his second season with the Oregon Ducks, along with a Coaching Staff that is mostly intact from last season. One key change is at Defensive Coordinator Andy Avalos, taking over for the departed Jim Leavitt.
One area of the Defense will be a key watch on Saturday. The top recruit in the nation, Kayvon Thibodeaux, has shown up and showed out at Matthew Knight Arena this season, specifically for Oregon Women’s Basketball. Now, fans will have a chance to see why he was so coveted on Saturday in the Spring Game.

Thibodeaux is just one reason to keep an eye on the Ducks Defensive play Saturday. Mykael Wright could be a key player in the backfield in 2019, and Troy Dye will look to continue to be a human highlight reel.
This year, as it has been in the past, there will be two teams, but there is a difference in the style of play. The number one Offense will face the number one Defense with Justin Herbert and CJ Verdell leading Mighty Oregon, or Team Green. Travis Dye, Brendan Schooler, and Jacob Breeland will help round out the Offense for Mighty Oregon on Offense. On Defense, Team Green will have Kayvon Thibodeaux in the middle, along with Wright playing Cornerback.
Of note, Transfer Juwan Johnson could be a big target for Mighty Oregon. He has stood out on the field so far in Fall Camp.
On the other side, Quarterback Tyler Shough will lead the Offense. Verony McKinley will patrol the backfield and Gus Cumberlander will be the player to watch on the inside of the Defense. Spencer Webb is the Tight End of note. Mycah Pittman leads a slew of young Wide Receivers for the Fighting Ducks (Yellow Team).
The Oregon Spring Game has become as big for the pregame festivities over the last few years as it has for the Game itself. Former Ducks will be on hand including Kenjon Barner and Marcus Mariota. Oregon Legends Gary Zimmerman and Dan Fouts will take part in the Coin Toss. There will be a Military Flyover Pregame.
With Easter on Sunday, there will even be an Easter Egg Hunt on the Practice fields before the game. As far as the format, we learned last weekend Oregon will play a full game. The first half will be regular, the second half will have a running clock.
Oregon is expecting over 20,000 for the game. The Oregon Football Spring Game is set to start at 2 pm Pacific Time. The game will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.
