Four Oregon Ducks found new homes in the NFL Draft and two were quickly signed as Unrestricted Free Agents over the weekend.

Over the last few seasons, the NFL Draft has been appointment television for Oregon Fans, but this season there was a wait. Ugo Amadi was chosen first. He was the 30th Selection of the 4th Round and will stay close to home. Amadi was chosen by the Seattle Seahawks. To make the moment for Amadi even sweeter, his first son was born recently according to his Instagram account making the moment even more special.

Justin Hollins followed in the 5th Round and will join Royce Freeman with the Denver Broncos. According to NFL.com, Hollins could be a player to watch in the future and is considered an ascending player. Having a former teammate on the roster can only help Hollins acclimate to the Broncos Locker Room.

Two Oregon Ducks also went in the 7th Round with Dillon Mitchell finding his way to the Minnesota Vikings with the 239th Overall Pick. The Vikings have a big need in the Slot Receiver Position and Mitchell could easily find his way into the lineup as a Rookie with his speed. Training Camp for the Vikings will be worth the watch as well as the NFL Preseason to see if he can find his way into the mix.

Jalen Jelks was a key player on the Oregon Football Defense when he was with the Ducks and he fell in the NFL Draft. He was selected in the 7th Round by the Dallas Cowboys. Jelks was picked 241st overall on the final day of the 2019 NFL Draft.

There were six players that declared for the NFL Draft and both players who were not chosen in the Draft signed Free Agent Contracts. Both Tony Brooks James, signed with the Atlanta Falcons, and Kano Dillon, who signed with the Washington Redskins

Brooks-James has the potential for success in the NFL, but after being considered the Starter by most heading into his Senior season, he was overtaken by CJ Verdell on the field and was seen as more of a returner than a Running Back as the season played out.

Oregon Football is currently on a break following the Spring Game and is preparing for Auburn on the road to start their season on August 31st.
