Free Agent Jordan Bell Signs With Minnesota Timberwolves
Former Oregon Duck Jordan Bell has found a new home with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.
Bell spent his first two seasons in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors and gained experience on the court, but seemed to play rather sparingly in his time with the Warriors. Bell agreed to a one-year deal worth $1.6 Million.
While the Timberwolves did not make the big splash like some other teams signing a big name like Kevin Durant or Al Horford, Bell found his own way to Golden State. He was a Free Agent at the end of the season and was clearly ready to make a move from the Warriors. There was some Free Agent movement that may affect Bell.

D’Angelo Russell is on his way to Golden State and Minnesota was part of that trade on Monday bringing Shabazz Napier and Traveon Graham to the Timberwolves from the New Jersey Nets. Both Napier and Graham have guarantee dates of July 10th so Minnesota can waive both without cap implications or use them in another trade.
In Napier, Minnesota has what could potentially be a pretty good guard that can fill a hole in the lineup. Graham is better on the Defensive end, but with Bell signed for a season, he is likely expendable and could be key in bringing another piece to Minnesota for the upcoming season.
Jordan Bell became a household name with the Oregon Ducks and spent the better part of two seasons on Defense blocking shots. He did manage to find an Offensive game as well in his final season at Oregon before finding his way to the NBA with Golden State.
The former Duck averaged 3 points in 14 minutes per game hitting 51 percent from the floor while averaging 3 rebounds and an assist per game in 2018.
