Oregon Women’s Basketball: Ducks Announce 2019 Non-Conference Slate

Oregon Women’s Basketball Head Coach Kelly Graves has announced the 2019 Non-Conference slate including a game at Connecticut.

Following the success the team has had over the last three seasons, we are ready for 2019. Fans are as well with season tickets selling out the lower bowl of Matthew Knight Arena for the season already. Oregon is ready to make a run back to the Women’s Final Four.

It has been a busy summer abroad for both Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard, Both focused on 3×3 play with Team USA and FIBA for the second straight offseason. Graves welcomes in a talented Freshman class along with a seasoned Sophomore in Satou Sabally and has a team that is among the more experienced teams in the nation.

In glancing at the schedule, five of the 12 teams the Ducks will face to open the year were NCAA Tournament teams last season. Oregon Women’s Basketball opens the season with three straight home games. The Ducks host Northeastern on November 11th, followed by Utah State on November 13th, and Texas Southern on November 16th.

Oregon will then travel to Syracuse before three games in the Paradise Jam facing Oklahoma State, UT Arlington, and Louisville to close out November. The Ducks return to Matthew Knight Arena for four homes games including one exhibition game in December. The team will also travel to take on Long Beach State.

Pac-12 play opens the first week of January and Oregon will host Colorado and Utah on January 3rd and 5th respectively.

Graves and the Oregon Ducks will also travel to Storrs, Connecticut to take on Uconn on Monday, February 3rd during the first half of the Pac-12 season. The Ducks lost to Connecticut last season in the Women’s Final Four.

Game times and television will be finalized at a later date.
