Oregon Football vs Montana: Scoring Updates, Live Stats
The Oregon Ducks welcome the Montana Griz on Saturday Night. Oregon is the second highest-ranked team that Montana has faced in their history.
Oregon Football will play their second straight home game following a 77-6 win last week over Nevada. 11 different Oregon players scored, tied for the best in the nation with Maryland and Baylor entering their matchup with Montana.
Justin Herbert is looking to find consistency with his Wide Receivers as the push toward Pac-12 play next week. I expect that Transfer Juwan Johnson will play after being out with a nagging injury for the first two games of the season. Johnson brings both experience and size on the field and was primarily a backup at Penn State last season.

Montana brings the challenge of a dual-threat Quarterback in Dalton Sneed who brings with him experience in playing with UNLV. The Griz Offense is built on the run game as well as the legs of Sneed. Marcus Knight and Nick Ostmo run behind an offensive line that can open holes. The Oregon defense against the run is ranked 2nd in total defense and 1st in pass defense in the Pac-12 entering this week. This will be a battle to watch.
The Oregon Football Defense has been a strength through the first two games. Last week holding Nevada to just six points and finding ways to disrupt the Wolf Pack Offense for most of the night. DJ Johnson, who did not play vs Auburn led the way with 7 tackles. Samson Niu and Kayvon Thibodeaux also had highlight-reel plays in the win.
While Montana’s offense has shown promise, their defense has impressed as well. They allowed just 7 points in the second half of both of their respective games so far. Malik Flowers is the player to watch for kickoff returns for the Griz with 133 yards on the season, averaging over 25 yards per return.
Oregon and Montana kickoff at 7:55 pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Network.
