Oregon Football welcome the Colorado Buffaloes to Autzen Stadium for a Friday night matchup. The Ducks are currently in control of the Pac-12 North. Colorado is 1-1 in the Pac-12 South.
Oregon has won 27 of their last 30 games as a ranked team at home. The Ducks have also leaned on their defense this season and the unit has held four of their five opponents to single-digit scoring giving up 9.8 points per game which is good enough for 1st in the Pac-12 and 8th nationally entering the game with Colorado.

The Buffs are led by Steven Montez who Oregon fans will remember from his Freshman season in 2016. He ran for 135 yards on the ground against the Ducks three seasons ago. Now a Senior for Colorado, he is completing 67 percent of his passes and thrown for 10 touchdowns this season. This is not only a big game for the Ducks and Beavers, but scouts from nearly half the NFL are on hand to watch Montez and Herbert under the light on a Friday night.
On the ground, Oregon Football has struggled to have an identity at times early this season, but seem to have found their stride last week against California in a 17-7 win. Colorado has had success with Alex Fontenot who already had 4 touchdowns on the season along with 392 yards on the ground. Montez and Wide Receiver Tony Brown have had the most success through the air, but the Buffs are knicked up at Wideout, similar to what Oregon has had to deal with the first month of the regular season.

Oregon Quarterback Justin Herbert will have plenty of targets to throw to on Friday,, including Johnny Johnson III, Jaylon Redd, Mycah Pittman, and Brendan Schooler. Juwan Johnson had several opportunities last week vs Cal, but was not targeted by Herbert despite being open several times.
According to Dave Bartoo from the College Football Matrix, Colorado comes into Eugene with the top Offensive Coordinator in the Pac-12 Conference in Jay Johnson. Montez is a Quarterback that comes in with plenty of experience. The College Football Matrix sees the game playing out in favor of Oregon 37-20.
