Oregon Football traveled to USC looking for a road win and getting it in a big way over the Trojans on Saturday night.

The Oregon Ducks did not start out well and began sloppily for lack of a better word. Justin Herbert and the team were down 10 points before things started clicking on offense. The first target to Juwan Johnson on the night was caught and Johnson found his stride in the game after missing most of the first two months of the season with an ankle injury.

Herbert found Johnson three times for touchdowns He finished the night with 7 catches for over 100 yards. While the run game struggled in the first half with under 20 yards, Oregon found success through the air, as well as on Special Teams.

Mykael Wright had a 100-yard run back for a touchdown following a USC score just before halftime taking momentum back for Oregon who started the second half with the ball and did not look back. Earlier this season Utah came into Los Angeles and lost. The Trojans at home are a tough out having won 23 of their last 25 games at home.

It was the first home loss of the year for the USC Trojans as Justin Herbert finished the game completing 21 of 26 passes for  225 and three scores to Juwan Johnson.

For USC, Quarterback Kedon Slovis did not have a good night with three interceptions.

One aspect that was uncharacteristic for Oregon in this game was penalties. Emotion played a role for several players as the Ducks racked up 11 penalties for 57 yards. Things will surely be cleaned up and lessons learned this week.

Oregon enters the second bye week firmly in the conversation for the College Football Playoff after the 56-24 victory over the USC Trojans. The first College Football Playoff numbers are released on Tuesday.

The Ducks return home in two weeks, on November 16th to host Arizona. Gametime is yet to be announced.
