Oregon Football will need to continue to win with style points. According to the College Football Matrix, it is in the cards this week vs Arizona State.
Dave Bartoo from the College Football Matrix says that Arizona State’s Offense is similar over the last month to what they have been for the season. In looking at the breakdown over the last four weeks, Arizona State is ranked 69th in offense and 98th in defense. ASU year to date is 73rd on offense and 66th on defense. Oregon is another story.
Oregon Football over the last month hs 13th on offense and 35th defensively. Over the season 11th on offense and 14th on defense. The advantage here goes to the Ducks, but this is Pac-12 After Dark and Oregon has shown in their recent past that they know how to struggle in the desert.

Arizona State has seen a regression on their defense over the last four weeks which includes a home loss to Oregon State. The Beavers have been solid over the last few weeks and have a Defensive Efficiency similar to Oregon.
For the game this week, the College Football Matrix has this week’s game 37-20 Oregon. The opponent-adjusted score is similar, 38-17. The game that will need the focus is next week vs Oregon State according to Bartoo.
We also spoke about scenarios. The best case is to root for several teams for Oregon to make the College Football Playoff. Washington State needs to get the win over Oregon State Saturday and Washington needs to win next week vs Washington State. The two wins should push the Huskies into the top 25 according to the College Football Matrix making the Ducks chances look better having a win over a ranked opponent.
Other teams to cheer for this week are USC, Washington, Utah, and whoever is playing Baylor, which happens to be Texas.
Oregon Football and Arizona State kickoff at 4:30 pm Pacific Time on ABC.
