Oregon Basketball: Schedule Changes For Colorado, Utah

The Pac-12 Conference announced schedule changes for the Oregon Basketball team on Wednesday for this week’s games vs Colorado and Utah.

Oregon Basketball is on a roll winning eight straight games and enter the week ranked 17th in the nation. They are 6-0 at Matthew Knight Arena and 1-0 away from home this season. The Ducks are 1-1 on a neutral floor in 2020. The team is 2-0 in Pac-12 play after beating California and Stanford last week.

Oregon was supposed to face Colorado on Friday night. The game now will be played on Thursday afternoon with a 2 pm Pacific Time tipoff on Fox Sports 1. Following the game with Colorado, Oregon will head to Utah for a Saturday matchup with the Utes. The game is now set for a 6:30 pm tipoff on Pac-12 Network.

For the Buffaloes, the pandemic has not been too kind. Most of their games have been on the road. Colorado is 7-3, but just 1-2 to open Pac-12 play.. They will have three games at home starting with Oregon.

Colorado is averaging 75 points per game while holding their opponents to just over 60 points. McKinley Wright IV leads the team averaging over 15 points per game to go with 4 rebounds. He also leads the team with 52 assists. Dallas Walton is the player to watch on defense. He has 7 blocks so far in 2020 leading the team.

Utah is 4-3 on the season and 4-0 at home. They have lost three road games. Alfonso Plummer and Timmy Allen lead the team each scoring better than 14 points per game. Mikael Jantenen is hitting 59 percent from the floor and over 45 percent from three-point range, leading the team.

Oregon opens up the road trip visiting Colorado for a Thursday matinee at 2 pm Pacific Time on Fox Sports 1 before visiting the Utah Utes on Saturday for a 6:30 pm Pacific Time tipoff on Pac-12 Networks.
