Oregon Basketball: Ducks Top Oregon State, Win Pac-12 Regular Season Title
Oregon Basketball was not to be denied the outright Pac-12 Regular Season title after the UCLA Bruins lost earlier in the day. Will Richardson led the Ducks with 22 points in an 80-67 win that saw Oregon dominate the Beavers.
The win is impressive because not only does it give the Ducks their fourth Pac-12 Regular Season title under Head Coach Dana Altman and the second time the team has done it on back-to-back seasons.

Against Oregon State, all five starters scored in double figures led by Will Richardson with 22 points. He shot 7 of 12 from the floor and an impressive 6 of 7 from three-point range in the 80-67 win over the Beavers. The Ducks had 11 turnovers to Oregon State who finished with 10, but Oregon turned those 10 Oregon State turnovers into 19 points.
Eugene Omoruyi was held scoreless in the first half but came back in the second half scoring 18 points, the second-most of the game. Oregon shot 57 percent from the floor and led 44-31 at the half. Both teams scored 36 points in the second half. Rebounding is always a key with the Ducks and both teams were solid equalling 25 rebounds apiece.
While it was a quieter game for Chris Duarte, he finishes the regular season with some impressive marks. He is averaging better than 17 points per game for the season. He also has almost 5 rebounds per game. Defensively he has come away with 52 steals and is shooting 53 percent from the floor and better than 40 percent from three-point range. Duarte is certainly in the conversation if not THE conversation for Pac-12 Player of the Year.
Oregon enters the Pac-12 Tournament as the number one seed and will play first on Thursday after a bye in the Wednesday opening round in Las Vegas. The Ducks will face Arizona State in the Pac-12 Quarterfinal Round on Thursday. Tipoff is set for 11:30 am Pacific Time on Pac-12 Network.
