As head coach Dan Lanning and the No. 1 Oregon Ducks prepare for their first-ever Big Ten Championship, they have a formidable opponent ahead of them: the No. 3 Penn State Nittany Lions.

While the Ducks have looked (mostly) unstoppable throughout their perfect 12-0 regular season, the Nittany Lions are a team that Oregon has yet to face – and the two programs haven't played each other in nearly 30 years.

So, while Oregon may stand atop the country right now, here are a few Penn State players that the Ducks have to prepare for to walk away with the win on Saturday:

Nicholas Singleton. Nicholas Singleton. Nicholas Singleton. . 2024 stats: 1,310 all-purpose yards, 11 total touchdowns. . RB. 491. . player

Penn State's go-to guy on the ground is running back Nicholas Singleton. So far this season, he has been a star in the backfield for the Nittany Lions, earning 733 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on 121 carries.

Singleton has also scored 4 touchdowns and 292 yards through the air as well as being a prolific kick returner for the Nittany Lions, earning a total of 285 yards on 12 returns.

. player. Tyler Warren. Tyler Warren. . . Tyler Warren. 491. 2024 stats: 1,213 all-purpose yards, 11 total touchdowns. TE

Tyler Warren can do a little bit of everything and he can do it all extremely well. The Penn State tight end has not only earned 978 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns through the air but he has also rushed for an additional 189 yards and 4 touchdowns on the ground.

The cherry on top? He has a 60 percent completion rate on pass attempts for 35 yards and 1 touchdown.

Warren is the definition of an all-around player who is a triple threat on the offensive side of the ball. Oregon is going to struggle to slow down the Nittany Lions if the Ducks can't shut down every aspect of his game.

Drew Allar. QB. 491. . . . Drew Allar. player. drew allar. 2024 stats: 2,907 all-purpose yards, 23 total touchdowns

Drew Allar has silenced doubters throughout the entirety of the 2024 season. With 2,668 yards and 18 touchdowns through the air, Allar has led the Nittany Lions' offensive charge throughout their impressive regular season.

Allar has thrown just 5 interceptions so far this season, 3 of them coming against the USC Trojans and 1 each against Ohio State and Bowling Green.

The Penn State quarterback has also earned 225 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air as well as a 14-yard reception.
