As prospects from the class of 2026 continue to narrow their searches for their future team, Oregon continues to appear as a frontrunner for some of the top athletes in the country. Most recently, five-star quarterback Jared Curtis shared his final six schools under consideration and the Ducks are reportedly ahead of the rest.
"He recently told me, 'I like Oregon a lot.' I think he likes Oregon the most," said Steve Wiltfong, a recruiting expert for On3. "So, I am predicting him to land with Oregon."

The Ducks already have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for that year and the addition of a five-star quarterback would truly be, yet another, cherry on top. Currently, Curtis is ranked as the No. 4 overall athlete and the No. 1 quarterback in the class.

Curtis initially committed to Smart and the Bulldogs on March 23, 2024, but later decommitted as he continued to receive offers from powerhouse programs. Currently, Curtis is scheduled to visit the Ducks on June 6, just two weeks after his official visit with the Auburn Tigers and just one week before his official visit to Georgia.
