Dillon Gabriel is one of the most experienced quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft class, and now, he has yet another chance to show off his veteran abilities as he takes on the drills and skill challenges at the NFL Combine.

The veteran quarterback has opted to participate in the on-field drills and throwing challenges in order to further boost his stock ahead of Oregon's Pro Day and the impending Draft.

One nod that Gabriel has already received was for his agreeing to actually participate in the drills, while some of the other top quarterbacks in the Draft class have opted out of participating. In fact, the top two quarterbacks available, Colorado's Shedeur Sanders and Miami's Cam Ward, will not be throwing at the Combine.

So, Gabriel's experience, combined with the opportunity to show off his talented arm, could give the former Duck exactly the boost he needs to surpass some of the top prospects. However, Gabriel will be joined on the field by a few other star QBs, such as Texas's Quinn Ewers and Ole Miss's Jaxson Dart, as they too try to boost their Draft stock.

However, Gabriel is the only Heisman finalist quarterback throwing at the Combine, and his final season stats from his college career give him a leg up over the rest of the field.

Dillon Gabriel 2024 season stats

  • 326 completions (72.9 percent)
  • 3,857 passing yards
  • 30 passing touchdowns (6 interceptions)
  • 75 carries
  • 149 rushing yards
  • 7 rushing touchdowns

Gabriel will take the field, alongside his fellow quarterbacks as well as Oregon wide receivers Tez Johnson and Traeshon Holden and running back Jordan James, on Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m PT. The Combine will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
