Oregon Women's soccer starts fall sports season with 4-0 win over Weber State

Senior Taylor Bryan scored a pair of goals on her birthday to lead the Oregon women to a shutout win at Pape Field in the season opener. Goalies Caeley Goldstein and Gia Kiesling, turned away seven shots on goal, 7-7 on save opportunities.

New head coach Tracy Joyner, 85-62-20 at UC Davis, said after the match to Oregon video, "It's great. It's hard to win games and it's hard to score goals. Four goals is awesome, and four really nice goals, different types, scoring from outside, scoring off a cross header, some really, really nice finishes.

Joyner is gunning for excellence. She told KEZI9 Sports anchor Brett Austin Taylor, "Oregon's got historically a championship level team in every other sport. It is Oregon soccer's time."
