Tez flips after first pro touchdown
Pro Duck Tez Johnson latched on to eight passes for 58 yards (out of eight targets) scoring his first NFL touchdown on a one-yard flat route from quarterback Kyle Trask in the second quarter.
After the play the exultant slot receiver from Pinson, Alabama raced across the end zone to execute a front handspring to a back layout.
He told Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, “Ever since I got drafted, I said I was going to do a back flip or jump into the crowd,” Johnson said. “I was going to do one of those. So, the backflip came right to my head as soon as I scored. I didn’t think I was going to get that high, I just had a lot of adrenaline. But it felt really good.”

Duck reunion in Cleveland
NFL rookies and former Oregon stars Dillon Gabriel and Terrance Ferguson embraced at midfield after the Browns' 19-17 win over the Rams, a little more than a month after Gabriel attended Ferguson's wedding in Colorado and a season removed from the two serving as a clutch passing combination for the Ducks.

Both had star turns in their squad's last preseason game. Gabriel led an 11-play, 86-yard touchdown drive just before halftime, throwing his first pro touchdown on a 3-yard pass to Gage Larvadain. Ferguson nabbed two passes for 48 yards, including a nifty fade route down the left sideline good for 39 yards.
Tough day in the NFL for the Sanders brothers
Shedeur Sanders was 3-6 passing for 14 yards, sacked five times, while Shilo was penalized and ejected for fighting.
What a joke! #Bucs rookie safety Shilo Sanders was ejected… for this? Like really? Be better NFL refs! 🤷🏻♂️

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski turned to veteran backup Tyler Huntley for the last drive of the game, and Huntley marched the team to a winning field goal.
The fifth-year head coach told reporters, "Obviously we didn't play great as an offense in the second half, that's never on one person, so we can be better in a bunch of areas. Just felt like we wanted to give Snoop (Huntley) the last drive."
In NFL transactions, former Duck Kam Alexander was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and center Jake Hanson was placed on injured reserve by the Atlanta Falcons.
