When the Ducks came to town for their first Big Ten matchup of the year, they brought the rain with them. With less than an hour before kick off between Oregon and Northwestern, the rainy weather was a topic of conversation.
However, the overcast, early morning sky wasn't the focus; it was surprisingly a graphic that the Northwestern Wildcats were displaying around the field.
According to custom, the home team always comes second on the scoreboard (check ESPN, CBS, FOX, etc.) Yet, before the conference matchup, Northwestern displayed the two teams' logos with the "N" displayed before the "O."
So, yes, all around the stadium, "NO" was seemingly displayed as the Wildcats prepared for the No. 4 Ducks to march into their home.

Of course, after Oregon's 66-point victory over Oklahoma State last week, spurred by distasteful comments by OSU head coach Mike Gundy, Northwestern head coach David Braun was extremely careful about saying anything negative about the Ducks or their head coach, Dan Lanning.
Yet, the stadium-wide graphic was a hilarious moment for the Ducks, especially those who flew to Chicago for the Big Ten game, as it looked as though the Wildcats were simply hoping to manifest a close game, and not a complete blowout.
Heading into Week 3, Oregon had won its first two games by 112 combined points, absolutely annihilating Montana State and Oklahoma State.
With an hour until kick off, the Ducks were favored to beat the Wildcats by 27.5 points, with a projected point total of just 49.5 points.
It took just two weeks for Lanning and the Ducks to return to the top of the pyramid, earning the No. 4 spot in the AP Top 25 Poll and regaining the respect of college football analysts across the country.
Oregon and Northwestern were scheduled to kick off at 9 a.m. PT on Saturday, Sept. 13, and the game would be broadcast on FOX.
