Oregon Football Recruiting: 2016 CB Jordan Parker Reopens Recruitment

The Oregon Ducks were one of the teams who did not initially offer 4-star Cornerback Jordan Parker, but six Pac-12 schools did including Oregon State, USC, and UCLA. He committed to play for the Bruins back in April, but decommited from UCLA earlier today. Duck Territory says that last week at The Opening, the Ducks were able to get into Parker’s ear.  It is a tough break for UCLA who were looking to fill a position of need and a place where a Starting spot may have been his. If he decides to turn towards Oregon it would be a huge ‘get’ for the upcoming recruiting class which is already solid with several 4-star recruits at the Safety and Cornerback position.

set to be in the mix for Oregon in 2016

. Of course, the Ducks would not mind another addition to the fold with Parker, ranked thirteenth best by position and a 247 Sports 4-star athelete at Cornerback. In looking at the Class of 16 rankings Oregon currently sits just outside the Top Ten at number twelve, with Pac-12 foe USC ranked at eighth. Wherever he ends up is going to boost the recruiting numbers and get someone a solid athlete with incredible upside.

Bleacher Report sees Parker picking up more offers after a standout performance at The Opening and will apparently take several visits, but if Oregon ends up being his destination it should put Oregon into the Top Ten Rankings for the Class of 2016. Eric McKinney from ESPN spoke with him at The Opening and visits will likely be in the cards, to schools insdie and outside the Pac-12.
