The countdown continues to the 2015 College Football season and Fox Sports has revised their Preseason Top Ten according to what has happened in Fall Camp with several teams, including the Oregon Ducks who have successfully added Quarterback Vernon Adams to the mix. The move has made an impact on the
placing Oregon third behind Baylor and Ohio State.
With Adams in the mix, Oregon has plenty of weapons at their disposal for another title run in 2015, with likely the top Wide Receiver corps in the nation and two very capable Quarterbacks who can get the ball into their hands in Adams and seasoned Quarterback Jeff Lockie, who spent several years behind Marcus Mariota who is now with the Tennessee Titans.
On the Defensive side, DeForest Buckner appears to be in midseason form before the first game challenging teammates in the final week of practice before Eastern Washington Game Week Preparations begin this weekend.
Some of the Ducks oppenents also made the list. Michigan State who looks to be a force in the Big Ten again in 2015 is ranked seventh. The Pac-12 also has UCLA ranked in the Top Ten at number nine. The biggest surprise is USC is not in the Top Ten.
Oregon could see USC twice this season, once in Eugene in November, and a possible second time in the Pac-12 Championship Game several weeks later in Santa Clara, California.
The regular season begins for Oregon on Saturday, September 5th with Eastern Washington coming to Eugene for a 5pm Pacific Time kickoff on Pac-12 Networks.
