The game was close from the start and 1-1 until the Oregon Ducks took the lead at 3-1. Coach Horton and the team will have to wait until May 17th to see if they can pull out the win. The one game in Hillsoboro against the Pilots went into a rain delay and will be resumed from the top of the ninth inning at PK Park when Oregon will host the Pilots next month. Following the conclusion, Oregon will play another single game with Portland.

The Oregon Ducks have had foul weather this season with several games cancelled all together, including two in the Midwest against Michigan State. It is somewhat a relief that the team will have a game count, and also be able to finish it at home possibly for another W in the Win column next month. The two games lost against the Spartans due to weather will not be made up.

On Wednesday the Offensive output for Oregon came again from A.J. Balta who had a triple scoring a run in the 5th inning. The Ducks opened the game with a run in the top of the 1st followed by two runs in the 5th for a 3-1 lead.
