The Men’s team have a legitimate opportunity for another Team Title in front of the home fans and will begin their quest on Wednesday at Hayward Field. The Oregon Women’s team also has a chance, but will need some help.
The Oregon Ducks Women’s team lost two athletes, one being Jasmine Todd who left the program for unknown reasons and it was not injury related. According to FloTrack, Arkansas is the loaded team expected to run away with the top spot this week in Eugene. Texas, Texas A&M and Oregon are all capable of likely landing a spot in the Top 5. Last season, Jenna Prandini took the NCAA Championships by storm by participating and placing in multiple events, she has since gone pro and could be back in Eugene next month with an Olympics shot in the line during the Olympic Trials.
