As teams throughout the National Football League look to improve entering the 2016 season, the Chicago Bears will look in -house to Center Hroniss Grasu. Grasu, the former Oregon Ducks Starting Center played consistently with Quarterback Marcus Mariota over three seasons before both entered the NFL Draft two seasons ago.

Hroniss Grasu is entering his second season with the Chicago Bears and appears to have a better grasp of the playbook according to the Chicago Sun Times. Reaction vs Thinking is how you should play the game in the National Football League. With the former Oregon Center in the lineup last season the team averaged 3.8 yards per rush. Look for that number to increase in 2016.

"In college, I knew the playbook right away and I was playing fast,” he said. Here — I don’t want to make excuses, but I had to learn the playbook and that’s on me (via Chicago Sun Times)Hroniss Grasu on the difference between the Playbook In Year 1 vs Year 2"

While Grasu seems to be fitting in with the Bears, a little healthy competition never hurt. Chicago did address the Offensive Line during the NFL Draft last month and did find a free agent in Manny Ramirez who started for Denver during their Super Bowl run in 2013. Regardless of who starts for the Bears, Ramirez should be able to provide some valuable experience and competition for the younger Grasu in Fall Camp.
