Oregon Basketball fans will be happy to hear that the Portland Trailblazers have interest in Dillon Brooks.

Former Oregon Ducks Star Dillon Brooks may not have to travel far from the University of Oregon. Brooks is participating in the NBA Combine, along with several of his former teammates and is working out and talking with teams that may be interested in him.

One of those teams is the Portland Trailblazers according to Addicted To Quack. Portland recently lost in the first round of the NBA Playoffs and return some key pieces next season with C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard looking to get Rip City back to the Playoffs again. One piece of that puzzle could be Dillon Brooks.

His size and athleticism could give Portland size inside, as well as a long-range threat to score. The Trailblazers have some options with three first round NBA Draft picks at 15, 20, and 26. The team does not have a second round option but could bring Brooks on board as a late first round option, or trade down to take him in the second round.

Dillon Brooks Junior Year with the Oregon Ducks started on the bench. He worked his way back from a foot injury and helped lead the team to their second straight Elite Eight and first Final Four since 1939.
