Oregon Football took care of business early and celebrated late in a 69-10 over Oregon State in the Civil War.

The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers did battle for the 121st time, but one team was playing for pride, the other for a chance to double their win total from last season. Oregon started the game with the ball with plenty of Senior Leadership on display on both sides of the ball. Royce Freeman would get the first opportunity.

Ugo Amadi forced a fumble for the Oregon Defense. The ball was recovered by Thomas Graham, Jr giving the Ducks the ball at the 33-yard line. Oregon would cash it in four plays later. On 3rd and 18, Justin Herbert found Dillon Mitchell in the corner of the end zone giving Oregon a 17-0 lead.

Oregon State tried a fake punt with 8:55 left in the second quarter, but Oregon sniffed it out and had a short field from the 19-yard line looking to add to their lead. Kani Benoit made it look easy on one play running to the left to give Oregon a 37-7 lead.

Oregon State Quarterback Darell Garretson threw an interception to Thomas Graham Jr on the first play of the Beavers next drive. Graham took the ball back to the Oregon State 25 yard line. Justin Herbert called his own number and walked in from 10 yards out two plays later adding to an already mounting lead, 45-7.
