Just a few days ago, recruiting experts started to log predictions that four-star defensive back Donte Wright would flip his commitment from the Georgia Bulldogs to the Oregon Ducks.
Now, without any real noise out of Wright's camp, yet another expert has announced that he expects the Ducks and head coach Dan Lanning to pull off the flip.
While speaking with Josh Newberg on Rivals' recruiting show The Inside Scoop, Greg Biggins shared that he thinks Oregon will see a commitment from Wright.
More experts think Donte Wright will flip commitment to Oregon
"I've got him going to Oregon; it's been a long time coming," Biggins said. "Oregon is the team, for me, right now. They've had a lot of buzz, not just recently, but honestly for months, and it always kinda felt like, 'Hey, it's just a matter of time.'"
Wright is the No. 3 cornerback in the country and the No. 2 overall prospect out of California for the class of 2027. Despite being committed to the Bulldogs for nearly a year, Wright has never been shy about his love for Lanning, the Ducks, and the entire Oregon staff.
Biggins shared that while Wright's dad might personally know Georgia's defensive backs coach Donte Williams, the young cornerback really loves his relationship with the Oregon cornerbacks coach.
"He's been to Oregon four or five times, he loves the staff, he loves their secondary coach Rashaad Wadood," Biggins said. "Again, been there multiple times, loves Dan Lanning, loves the scheme fit."

Lanning isn't shying away from piling on talent in the defensive backs' room, adding blue-chip recruits like safeties Jett Washington and Devin Jackson in Oregon's 2026 recruiting class, as well as transfer safety Carl Williams IV and cornerback Aaron Scott Jr.
The Oregon defensive secondary has been a slight problem for the Ducks over the last few years, getting torn apart in the College Football Playoff by teams like Ohio State in 2025 and Indiana in 2026.
Players like the ones Lanning added this offseason (and possibly Wright) joining the depth chart is exactly what the Ducks need to take that next step toward reaching their ultimate goal: winning the National Championship.
