Jordan Burch transformed into a monster of a defensive end during his two seasons for the Oregon Ducks and had an opportunity to show off those skills during his day at the 2025 NFL Combine.
Following in the footsteps of fellow Oregon defensive linemen Jamaree Caldwell and Derrick Harmon, Burch excelled in the on-field drills and flew through the 40-yard dash. Compared to all of the other defensive ends, Burch recorded the sixth-fastest time in the 40 for the day.
Jordan Burch NFL Combine measureables
- 40-yard dash: 4.67 seconds
- 10-yard split: 1.66 seconds
- Athleticism score: 76 (10th out of DEs)
- Production score: 70 (16th out of DEs)
- Total score: 73 (16th out of DEs)
Overall, the NFL Network gave Burch a 6.27 prospect grade, which lands him within the projection category of "will eventually be an average starter."
That category doesn't necessarily guarantee Burch's status as a starter in the NFL, but it also doesn't discount the chance that the former Duck could become a starter as early as the preseason matchups in the league.

Burch looked extremely smooth as he ran through the on-field drills, such as run the hoop and other skill challenges that test the athletes' flexibility, foot speed, and balance.
Before taking the field, Burch measured at 6-foot-4 and weighed in at 279 pounds, slightly smaller than he was during his final season with the Ducks. While speaking to the media on Wednesday, Burch shared that he had slimmed down to try and hit the 4.60-mark in the 40-yard dash, a goal he fell just short of.
Following Burch, Caldwell, and Harmon was Oregon linebacker Jeffrey Bassa, who became a leader for the Ducks during his time in Eugene and showed more of his maturity while practicing and playing at the Reese's Senior Bowl.
